Swimming has been my passion since the age of 4, and throughout my early years it played a huge role into moulding me into the man I am today; disciplined, focused and determined.
My dedication for swimming continued until the age of 20 when I just missed out on making the Olympic swim team for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. The highlight of my swimming career was representing Team GB in a number of meets across Europe both in an age group and as a senior swimmer.
Having dedicated so many years of my life to swimming I decided it was time to venture into the business world and had a secure career as an Accountant in a number of global organisations. However a number of years ago I gave that all up to return to my passion, and I have never looked back!
I have worked in wide variety of settings with exciting and diverse clients from The Purple Dragon – a private members club for children (Chelsea), toddlers to triathlon athletes in The Harrods Village Leisure Complex (Barnes), Olympic hopefuls in a London based competitive swimming club, as well as children with challenging behaviours.
Regardless of who and where I am teaching, I love the challenges that swimming brings and find it immensely rewarding when students and parents finish a class knowing that they are proud of what I have just helped them to achieve.
