I have always been very active and into sports, which encouraged me to take a degree in Physical Education. I started swimming when I was 4 and competed in Brazil from the age of 10 until my early 20’s.
I have always loved swimming. I have been teaching for over 10 years now, and haven’t lost the passion! Over the years working as a swimming teacher, I have been lucky enough to experience teaching all levels in swimming coaching and technique, and also to take qualifications in such levels. I have been teaching babies and toddlers, children, adults and people with special needs of all ages.
I believe swimming is a very important skill to learn, of course for safety reasons, but it is also fun and great to be active. For me, being a swimming teacher is a wonderful job. I feel so lucky to be involved in doing something I love, and there can be nothing more satisfying than being a part of my student’s journey: observing as they grow and improve the skill and confidence in their swimming.
