FAQ: What is the Double Nappy System for the Younger Children?
Frequently Asked Question: “What is the Double Nappy System?
At SwimWay, all children under the age of 3 years (and older children if they are not potty trained) are required to wear the double nappy system in our classes. This consists of an aqua nappy (such as Huggies) that can be bought in most supermarkets/chemists, and a Happy Nappy over the top. The Happy Nappy can be bought on-line at www.splashabout.com and from JoJo Maman Bébé.
“The Happy Nappy is a neoprene nappy with comfortable and snug fitting nylon elastic ribbing ensures there are no faecal leaks in the swimming pool. Effectively protecting against leaks that can cause serious illness, the Happy Nappy is suitable for when your baby is enrolled in swim classes or for just visiting the local pool for a good splash about. Easy to care for simply, rinse, roll and reuse, again and again. Always keep baby and others swimmers safe, so let your baby swim with a Happy Nappy.”
