Work for SwimWay!  We are always on the lookout for experienced, senior-level, London-based instructors. To join our team, you must have a passion for teaching young children, as well as:

  • Minimum 2-years' experience teaching private/semi-private lessons in London
  • STA/Swim England level 2 qualification (or international equivalent recognised by the STA/Swim England)
  • Recent DBS check
  • IOF certificate of insurance or instructor liability insurance
  • NLPQ or national rescue award for swimming teachers and coaches
  • Ability to commit to a minimum 1-year contract
  • Minimum 2 references
  • A proven record of outstanding swimming lessons in private and semi-private classes for children between the ages of two and nine years
  • Preferable to also have experience teaching small group parent & baby lessons for children between the ages of 3-36 months

SwimWay’s hardworking office team has been building the company administrative foundations since 2008. They manage the accounts and instructors whilst provide customer and client services.  With lower staff turnover, we only advertise to join the office team when a position becomes available.  Keep an eye on this page for any updates, and we will provide job specs when we are hiring.  Ideal candidates would have the following required experience/attributes:

  • Booking management, sales or marketing roles
  • CoursePro booking software an advantage
  • Basic swimming knowledge an advantage
  • Exceptionally organised, capable of managing and prioritising multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion and experience of liaising with senior management and staff
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with a polite and confident phone manner
  • Ability to work quickly, without sacrificing quality or professionalism
  • Highly enthusiastic and pro-active with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work autonomously
  • Experience working within a team
  • Previous office experience (in either an office manager/assistant or junior office manager role)
  • Goal-orientated personality
  • Competent using MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • UK resident and/or has permission to work in the UK
