Official Statement

SwimWay MD, Dan Pastor, released the following announcement this afternoon. All clients booked with us for the current Spring Term and Easter Holiday Courses received this message.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope this email finds you all in good health.

I think it is hard for anyone to be prepared for events such as we are experiencing now.  The situation is unprecedented, and we have been continuing to operate under rather vague guidance from the government.  The messages of support we have been receiving from our clients over the past couple weeks has truly warmed my heart.

Nevertheless, it has become apparent that for now the initiative lies with us as a community to act.  I strongly feel we all need to make very difficult and responsible decisions at this time.

With this in mind I am extremely sad to announce that as of end of day today, Wednesday 18th March, we will be ceasing operations for the remainder of the Spring Term ending w/c 30th March, as well as the Easter Holiday Courses.  The safety of our clients, pool owners and staff is our top priority and I hope you are all staying safe and well in these difficult times.

We will reopen when it is considered safe for staff and clients alike.

I am sure you can understand the enormous impact these closures will have for SwimWay and its staff.  Credit from these cancellations will be automatically applied to your accounts. You will be able to use this a part payment towards future bookings (term time or holiday courses).

Regarding the Summer Term starting w/c 20th April, we will not yet be cancelling any classes. However, we will follow the same procedures and make a future announcement should it be necessary to do so.

Thank you all for your support and understanding. I wish you all the best and good health. Please stay strong and look after your families and love ones.

Warmest Regards,

Dan Pastor
