Technically, SwimWay does not offer trial lessons. We understand that when starting out with a new swimming lesson provider, there can be a little uncertainty. You don’t want to book a full term of lessons without knowing exactly what you are paying for.
Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve a space for a booking that is not guaranteed. Sometimes bookings are taken months in advance of the course starting. If we offer that class as a trial, we may miss out on a guaranteed booking during peak demand periods. However, we do have policies and options in place to give you peace of mind when booking with us…
Parent & Baby Free Trial Offers
Sometimes we run free trial offers for parent and baby lessons during the current term. We cannot always guarantee availability, but if there is space and we have an offer running, you are welcome to book a free trial with us! We will advertise on social media or on our website when we have an offer on so keep an eye out!
Refunds After The First Lesson
Our policy states that you must pay the fees for the full course before the first class. However, if you are a new client, or starting with a new instructor, we do offer term-time refunds. You would need to notify us within 3 days after the first scheduled lesson. We can then offer a refund for the remaining lessons in the term (less 10% full invoice administration fee). Effectively, this is a paid trial lesson for you which offers us security too. It is extremely rare for clients to opt for the first lesson cancellation clause. But it is important for you to feel confident when booking with us.
Holiday Courses
This offer is not extended to Holiday Courses. As they are only one-week bookings, a Holiday Course is a perfect opportunity for you to try our lessons without booking a full term. Many clients will book one of these courses, then go onto to book term-time lessons as well.
Site Visits
If our refund policy doesn’t put you at ease, and you cannot join a holiday course, why not have a site visit? Many clients ask us to view our facilities and lessons prior to confirming their bookings with us. This is a completely understandable request, and we do our best to make SwimWay venues available for site visits whenever possible.
