Summer Holiday Lessons 2020 – SwimWay COVID19 Measures

The SwimWay Summer Holiday Lessons booked out extremely quickly this year. Lockdown has resulted in many families looking for children’s activities for the first time in months! Since the reopening of indoor pools, requests have surged even higher! These courses would not be possible without the hard work of our Health & Safety team. SwimWay COVID19 measures are in place to maximise hygiene and keep everyone safe.

There will be a few changes to our usual operational procedures during these strange times we find ourselves in.  All our clients will be sent a full list of guidelines for the venue they have been booked into during the holidays.  We urge our clients to read these guides carefully and thoroughly to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.

Four main points we feel are important to highlight:
  1. Children should arrive already changed under their clothes/towel/bathrobe
  2. You will only be permitted into the facilities five minutes before the start of your lesson
  3. Maximum one adult per student booked in.  If possible, please do not bring any siblings. But if unavoidable, one sibling maximum will be allowed
  4. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide showering facilities until further notice. Please ensure you shower at home before and after your lessons

We have been working on the SwimWay COVID19 measures, risk assessments and action plans for several weeks now. We are ensuring we fall in line with guidelines as advised by the Government and Swim England. With the kind cooperation and understanding of our clients, things will run smoothly. We expect loads of smiling, happy faces as the children get back to swimming fun!

The friendly SwimWay office team will be on hand should any of our clients have any queries or concerns. Our thanks for your continued understanding and cooperation during this time.  We are all delighted to have everyone back for lessons!
