Summer Term Operational Meeting

Our recent teacher training course, held at the onset of the term, had Managing Director Dan Pastor kicking things off with the Summer Term Operational Meeting. He delved into a range of topics essential for the company as a whole...

Welcoming New Instructors

First, Dan extended a warm welcome to the newest additions to our SwimWay family: Grace, Henrique, Ingrid, Sandro, and Salma. Their inclusion not only enriches our team but also signifies our commitment to nurturing talent and building the company.

Celebrating Milestones

The highlight of Dan’s presentation was the celebration of the opening of our new venue in Kew Gardens, TW9 2EL. Boasting a comfortable 31°C temperature, our new pool provides the perfect environment for a refreshing and enjoyable swimming experience. Whether have a child aged 3-36 months, or children 2-12 years ready to dive into lessons. Or perhaps you’re an adult eager to improve your swimming skills… SwimWay has something for everyone

Operational Reminders

Efficiency is the backbone of our operations. So, instructors were provided reminders of small but important things that help the company run smoothly. We encouraged them to promptly print their schedules, ensuring they have all necessary information at their fingertips. Moreover, vigilance regarding student levels and medical conditions was stressed. This goes a long way to ensure a personal touch to the classes. Additionally, it confirms our commitment to our ever-important safety guidelines.

Embodying Excellence

Being a SwimWay instructor isn’t just about teaching strokes; it’s about embodying excellence in every interaction. We reminded instructors of the multifaceted role they play, from fostering strong relationships with parents to upholding professionalism and punctuality. A culture of teamwork, proactivity, and reliability was emphasised. Thus reinforcing our collective commitment to delivering the highest levels of swimming education.

Adapting to Change

Change is inevitable, and SwimWay is prepared to navigate. Insights were shared regarding demographic shifts. Such as the decline in the 0 to 4-year-old demographic in Richmond and evolving school catchment areas. So, strategies to adapt were discussed, including the introduction of a group lesson model tailored to our methodology. This proactive approach ensures that SwimWay remains at the forefront of industry trends. We aim to continue to deliver value to our clients in all our offerings.

Dan’s operational presentation perfectly aligned with SwimWay’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and adaptability. Thus reaffirming our commitment to excellence and empowering our students to thrive in the water and beyond! Keep up with SwimWay by following us on Instagram!
