With SwimWay since November 2013
My swimming career began in 2005, teaching at a popular swimming pool in northern Italy. I worked with individuals of all ages and skill levels, from infants to adults, beginners to advanced swimmers. I was then offered the opportunity to transition into a coaching position, where I spent nearly four years achieving great success in local, regional, and national competitions.
In search of new experiences and challenges, I relocated to Madrid in 2009, where I spent the next four years teaching at two swim schools, learning and developing various methods and approaches. It was there that I also obtained the Spanish “RFEN – Level 1 in Coaching Swimming.”
Since May 2013, I have been living and working in London. I have discovered a vibrant swimming environment in this city, full of opportunities to enhance my knowledge and career. In the same year, I earned the “Swim England-Level 2 in Teaching Aquatics” and began teaching while also completing an internship as a coaching assistant for Chelsea and Westminster Swimming Club. Later, I began coaching for Barnes Swimming Club, where I became the Assistant Head Coach. In 2015, I acquired the “Swim England-Level 2 in Coaching Swimming,” and to further enrich my coaching skills, in 2017, I successfully achieved the “ASCA – Level 4” from the American Swimming Coaches Association.
More recently, after four years coaching at Ealing Swimming Club, in 2025, I was appointed Lead Coach of the Ealing Chiswick House. In the same year, I also successfully obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Social Psychology.
My aim is to help my students feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the water while also having fun, providing them with all the tools they need to master and control the aquatic environment!
