With SwimWay since November 2025
My name is Giacomo, and I’m originally from Genova, a small seaside town in Italy. Growing up by the sea gave me a natural love for swimming, being outdoors, and staying active. Water has always been a part of my life, and that passion eventually led me to teaching.
I have several years of experience teaching swimming in London, working with children of all ages and abilities in both 1:1 and group settings. I take pride in creating lessons that are safe, motivating, and enjoyable, whether I’m helping a nervous beginner take their first steps or supporting a confident swimmer as they refine their technique. My background also includes developing programmes for swimmers with disabilities, ensuring every child feels included, capable, and supported.
Before joining SwimWay, I worked across a range of customer-facing and managerial roles. These experiences strengthened my communication skills, leadership ability, and commitment to excellent service – qualities I bring with me into every lesson.
I hold a Swim England Level 2 qualification in swimming teaching, and I’m fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. Above all, I love helping children grow in confidence, discover the joy of swimming, and feel proud of what they can achieve.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing my passion for the water.
