Having grown up between South Africa and the UK, I’ve spent much of my life in the water. As well as being a keen swimmer, I played water polo and achieved my PADI diving qualification as a teenager.

I first became a swimming teacher while studying at the University of Cape Town, where I taught both children and adults alongside completing my Business Science degree. After a successful career in marketing and leadership roles, I recently returned to swim teaching by renewing my STA qualification.

As a parent myself, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, supported and encouraged while learning new skills. I love creating a positive environment where swimmers can build confidence, enjoy their lessons and make steady progress at their own pace.

For me, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a swimmer achieve something they didn’t think was possible and leaving the pool with a smile!
