Hi! I’m Sophie, and swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I first jumped into the water at the age of 5, and I’ve been hooked ever since! I trained with Ealing Swimming Club, where I dedicated years to developing my skills and competing in swimming competitions across various levels.
As my passion for the water grew, I took the next step and became a lifeguard. This experience gave me a deeper appreciation for water safety and the responsibility that comes with being in and around the pool. At 19, I followed my calling and became a qualified swimming teacher.
Now, I get to do what I love most – teaching children how to swim and giving them the tools to be confident, capable, and safe in the water. For me, teaching swimming isn’t just about strokes and technique, it’s about passing on a life skill that can open doors, build confidence, and even save lives.
Whether your child is taking their first splash or refining their skills, I’m here to guide them every step of the way with patience, encouragement, and a deep love for the water.
Fun fact: When I’m not in the pool, you’ll probably find me dancing! I’ve been a dancer for 14 years, and I’ve studied ballet for 12 of those. It’s been a huge part of my life and has helped me develop grace, discipline, and a strong sense of movement that I bring into my swim teaching too!
