This year’s SwimWay Winter Christmas Party was nothing short of magical. Hosted at The Jolly Gardeners in Putney, the evening brought together the entire SwimWay team for a night filled with celebration, connection, and festive cheer. Tucked away from the busier streets, this charming spot truly felt like a hidden gem, and the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening.
The SwimWays Annual Winter Party set the tone for a memorable evening.
As the team arrived, it was wonderful to see everyone dressed in their Christmas finery and ready to enjoy a night out together. Instructors, office staff, and pool owners mingled effortlessly, catching up outside of the usual busy poolside environment. The atmosphere was buzzing with joy and laughter, amplified by the welcoming glow and cosy interior of the pub.
We held our annual Winter Party at The Jolly Gardeners in Putney, and SwimWay cannot recommend this welcoming pub highly enough. With its warm lighting, rustic yet elegant décor, and friendly staff, the venue provided a truly comfortable and inviting setting for the occasion. The team enjoyed a dedicated seating area, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, chat, and celebrate the year’s achievements in a space that felt perfectly suited to the event.
From the thoughtful layout to the inviting ambience, The Jolly Gardeners delivered everything needed for an intimate and enjoyable gathering. It was clear that great care had been taken to make the evening feel special.
Moments like these deserve to be captured, and thanks to our talented photographer and SwimWay instructor, Jordana Barale, we now have a beautiful collection of photos filled with smiles, laughter, and candid joy. Jojo’s natural ability to make everyone feel comfortable behind the lens shone through in every picture. Thank you, Jojo, for preserving these memories so wonderfully!
Even after the main festivities wrapped up, many of the team stayed on to continue the fun. The conversations grew livelier, the laughter louder, and the sense of togetherness even stronger. The pub slowly emptied as the night went on, but the SwimWay crew remained until closing time, enjoying every last moment.
As we wrap up another brilliant year at SwimWay, we’re excited for all the special moments the new year will bring. Our Spring Term starts in January, but until then, we wish you a joyful and restful winter break!
