At SwimWay we take the quality of our swimming lessons and instructors very seriously. We have developed an entirely new programme that we feel focuses on each child’s individual needs and abilities. This falls in line with our private/semi-private lesson structures which are created specifically to focus on the individual within the class.
In order to control the quality of our lessons, our senior instructors Dan Pastor and Tamsin Watt, some of the most experienced swimming instructors in London, take on quality control/training roles along with their other duties. Once a week, they spend 3 hours at one of our locations, examining instructors’ lesson plans and teaching styles to help improve, learn from, and develop our team to continue to be the best that London has to offer.
Another way we ensure good quality in our swimming lessons is in our health and safety practices. Our coaches have courses at the beginning of each swim term. This is more regular than legally required and we feel it is necessary to ensure up to date and safe teaching practices. We also have our specialised health and safety consultant, David Perry, regularly inspecting the facilities and classes.
The continuous review of our swimming programme, as well as constant instructor training sustains our ongoing improvement. It is vital to our success as a business. We are very proud of what we have created here, and constantly aim for better practices and results.
