SwimWay Swimming School Temporary Closure – November 2020

We hope our clients and families are happy and healthy during these trying times.  Yesterday, the government announced a new country-wide lockdown. Starting at 00:01am on Thursday 5th November, running until 00:01am on Wednesday 2nd December.  As a result, SwimWay will undergo another temporary closure for the duration of the new lockdown.

Our final lessons will run on Wednesday 4th November. We will hopefully reopen on Thursday 3rd December.

Cancellations & Credits

We will automatically apply credit for any cancellations to clients’ accounts. These can be used as a part payment towards future bookings (term time or holiday courses).  This credit is valid for use until the end of December 2022.

Reopening

These dates are subject to change, dependent on guidance provided by the government.  Swim England is currently investigating further and is in communication with the government. The question is whether swimming schools teaching private lessons in private venues or lessons provided at schools are exempt.  However, we do not yet have an answer.  We will reopen as soon as children can safely swim again. As long as our policies and procedures remain COVID-compliant.  If the lockdown extends further, cancellations/credits will continue to be applied.

Future Bookings

Regarding the December Holiday Course and Spring Term 2021, we will not yet be cancelling any classes.  However, we will follow the same procedures and make a future announcement should it be necessary to do so.

General bookings for the Spring Term starting w/c 4th January will still open on Tuesday 3rd November at midday. From this time, availability will be posted on each venue page.  Bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis via email only.

Wish you all the best and good health. Please stay strong. Look after your families and loved ones.
